Hello. My 1992 Ford Taurus "died" last week.....the transmission went (surprise, surprise....don't they all). Anyway, how can we get rid of the car without paying someone to take it away?

Many charity organizations will take your car and you may get a tax write off for its' value.

my nissan died on me last year too.
all i did was call a charity and they came the next day and towed it away. plus they gave me a receipt of the car's book value to write off on my taxes.

check it out.
