hello this is my first post. hope somebody can help.
The house that we own has had an extension built to kitchen by the previous owner and two reception rooms knocked through into one. However on both jobs the previous owner has not removed entire walls. but left an arch. kitchen one being not much wider than a doorway and reception rooms still being two rooms really with an arch seperating them.
We would like to remove these arches but have no idea of what this would involve. We presume that even though arches are in place previous owner should have used beams/lintels as these are both supporting walls. Is it possible to determine length dimensions of these before removing plaster.
