Hi all,

I need some help in identifying the lamp I need to use to replace in my Philips Outdoor Bulkhead light. The lamp itself will need a bayonet fitting, but inside the main housing there appears to be a transformer and a starter (like a strip light but fatter). I have taken some pictures of the fitting and body internals if anyone can help. It had a 240v standard lamp in it before, but looking at the internals I don't think this is correct.

Help please.

Its either a SON or metal halide fitting.
I would need to read the print on the ballast to be sure.

Vince, sorry for mucking around, but I have decided after looking at SON and Metal Halide Lamp prices to replace the whole light fitting.
