I am building a new extension and have a few friends to do the work they have said order the materials and call us.

Just wanted to know:

How much Sand and Cement is required for 10 square meters area for brickwork and 10 square meters block work

How much ballast and cement is required for 450 cubic feet (foundation)

Does anyone know how to work it out is there a simple formula?

Your supplier will tell you how much you need for the foundations, are you mixing or using ready mix.

Sand and cement, just buy a tonne of sand in a bag, and 1/2 tonne of cement if you can keep it dry, then order more as it gets low
