I need to fit a new shower upstairs in my house the water pressure is very low i dont want to fit an electric shower and i cant fit a pump to increase the pressure as i have a combi boiler any ideas

I think you have a problem.

What is the mains pressure/volume like for starters.

What pressure/volume in ltrs/min is the combi capable of.

If the pressure is good and the volume low, indicating a small supply pipe, an accumulator would help no end.

The problem is the size of the vessel. is about the same as the cylinder.

If you had an outbuilding or garage attached to the property, you could install a break tank and pump set, however this is not a cheap option, and you would be looking at £5-600 quid, with no guarantee the boiler could deliver anyway.

The best solution, would be the electric shower, which also gives you a back-up if the boiler plays up

Thanks Thescruff not sure of the pressure the combi will deliver or the volume will have to check it out the problem i have with electric shower is that i have got 10.5kw downstairs if i fit 10.5kw upstairs both showers on at the same time at 3amps a kw thats 60amp if washer,tv,oven on at same time im sure it will go over the rating for my meter lots of things to check before i decide what to do
