Any suggestions?
We have a Vaillant ThermoCompact boiler which supplies both the central heating and hot water systems.
It was fine until a few nights ago when it got very noisy and went out. We let the air out of the radiators and re-lit it and it appeared to be fine.
However, since then the water has not been very hot, so I took a look at the system and the hot water pipes feeding into the hot water tank, from the boiler, are very hot, but the actual water coming out of the tank at the top is cool.
Its a closed system and shows a really low pressure (less than 1 bar) but has always been like that so I've assumed it was just badly designed in the first place.
Is it that we still have air in the system, or could it be something else?
