hello
i have just changed a wall mounted fan in my bathroom.the fan i replaced is the same make ,the only difference is that the new one has a humidity sensor on it.the wiring position is exactly the same and the connections are exactly the same.the old one when i pulled the cord came on but the new one doesnt do that.i have noticed that there is marked on the connector block L N L1.ther is only 1 wire going to the fan L N E.i wired the L to L and N to N (E not connected).iwant to know if i have wired it right or does the fan wired so that it only works when the humidity is above the required levels.i hope i have give enough info.please help its doing my loaf in

The fan you have requires a permenant live.
As you only have the neutral and switch live it is not going to work.
If you want it to work on the pull cord only then put a link in between the live and L1 at the fan.
It will not work on humidity in this mode.
