Having recently had our lounge plastered (about 6 months ago), I was told to seal the plaster before painting it with emulsion (I now know from reading here that this was wrong). We have spotted a couple of very small marks in the paint that we have caused by knocking the wall while moving furniture. My wife tried to sand the marks back to enable her to fill the marks and re paint. However, the paint has just peeled like wallpaper. It cannot be sanded back as it just brings up the edges and keeps peeling. We, obviously, don't want to have to peel the whole room off so is there anything we can do to "patch" in the area that has come off so it looks flat as painting it as it is will obviously show the edges of the paint/plaster areas
