trying to wire in a bathroom with one breaker to control it all. please correct me if I'm wrong. I can run a wire from the breaker box to the
re-setting plug-in, then from the plug-in run a wire to the light/fan switch.
(Both the fan and light on one switch) Then run the wire from the switch to the fan, then at the same time tie in my wire to run over to the light. ?

Poss,

Maybe that would be ok if its just a fan, provided that you wire the lot in the same sized wire.......and correctly fuse that cct , then the wireing inside your wall will be electrically safe.

However , i am from New Zealand , and genrally over here we keep plugs and lites on seprate ccts. , but we do put fans on plug ccts and fans on lite ccts , depending on the type of fan , etc then you make that decision but i wouldn't be putting plugs and lites on the same cct!

He don't want to run a plug from that circuit if you read the post.
The plug-in he mentions is a resetable saftey device !!!!!!

Yes you can run both the light and the fan on the same circuit as long as it is fused correctly Smile
