Please can someone let me know the 'tricks' of the trade to make leak tight joints to the coil connection of my hot water cylinder.
The situation is 1"BSP parallel male on the cylinder and 1" female BSP parallel pipe connection.

I have tried rolling a grommet from PTFE and have not been successful, maybe I am doing it wrong

Please advise

Try changing the 1" bsp female iron/copper connector for a union type swivel connector, you will have better luck Very Happy
