Hi,
the rads in my lounge seem to be cold towards the bottom and only partly warm towards the top. When I feel the pipework into the rad valves they hardly seem to be hot. I have tried bleeding the rads through out the house to eradicate any air in the system but I have found this problem seems to transmit itself to different raiators throughout the house at different times. We have only moved to this house in August this year and so do not know whether this has been a constant problem in the past. A new boiler was fitted in 1996, could it be that the boiler is not poweful enough to do the job? Or perhaps the rad valve balance is not correct throughout the house? What do you think can cause this problem.
Many thanks for your help!! |

| Thanks dcool for your reply, I'll buy a thermometer to carry out the balance I believe they should read as 11c or 20F. Is that the correct reading and should the flow in and out be identical? Thanks |
