I recently began redecorating a bedroom using a large tub of paint that I have had from last October, where it was used to decorate most of the house - for some reason the paint smells really awful, like it has gone off, where as last year it was fine and just had the normal 'paint smell'. I am wondering whether a) paint can go off in a year? and b) Is there anything I can do to get rid of the smell without resorting to repainting the whole room?
The paint is technically fine, and has coated the walls well, but the smell is unbearable and had invaded the whole house!
Any advice would be gratefully received.
