My query is about trying to lose weight, since stopping smoking a year ago i have unfortunatley put on 2 or 3 stone Embarassed I hate it as i've always been used to being pretty thin, i'm 5'5" and was always around 8-9st. I've tries cutting out sugary foods etc. and do a fair bit of walking but the weight wont shift, i've joined a gym but find it hard to find the time to get there, i was wondering about tablets you get in the health shops that claim to aid weight loss, are these any good or are they a waste of money, i'll try anything, help.. Crying or Very sad

In the same boat m8 Rolling Eyes

Giving up smoking usually leads to eating titbits during the day, that in itself don't help.

Running and bi-cycling is a good way to get fit and loose weight, and has the advantage that you don't need to pre-book.

Personally I try to avoid all pills were possible, even the ones I have to take

Thanks, i have decided where the pills are concerned i won't go there, at least untill i've gave the gym a good go first, i'll just have to try and make the time, i'm paying for it now afterall. Also, like you said, cutting out the titbits during the day would be a good idea too Embarassed
If i do discover any miracle remedy that works, i'll be sure to let people know Laughing
