I want to re-insulate my Roof/Loft space and have seen advertised a company that removes the felt from the existing roof (from beneath the tiles) and then sprays a polyuerothane insulating material to the underside of the roof tiles to create a "draught free, damp free, more stable roof, that is up to 5 times more efficient than fibre glass insulation" all their words not mine!!!
The properties they claim for this product all seem very impressive but has anyone heard of or even has a similar product installed.....if so does it "do what it says on the can"

Yes avoid at all costs.

Celotex in 2400 x 1200 sheets of various thicknesses can be cut tight between the rafters and sealed with foil tape for a much better job and I gather considerably cheaper.

Also an easy diy job if you take your time, best to lay some boards to work on.

Thanks for the advice chaps Smile ..... I have been surfing around on the net and seem to be getting very similar replies as to the "benefits" of spray insulation and "steer well clear" seems to be a common message Exclamation
