| The morter which keeps the flashing in place on our garage roof (it is apex roof not flat)has crumbled. I have tried to replace it but in some areas the flashing is not flush with the wall and springs out of place dislodging the newly placed morter. How do you stop it springing out? |

get some sheet lead cut it into triangles and roll it into wedges then wedge the lead flashing into the joint with them  |

Just tap the lead wedges in with a blunt chisel.  |
