Hi

Common video file extensions include:

ASF, WMV, MPG, MPEG, VOB, AVI, RM.

This FREE tool can convert AVI / DIVX into a format compatible to burn to a DVD for use within a consumer DVD player --> http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/diko.cfm

These FREE tools can RIP DVD video directly from DVD Videos (for legitimate home use, allows back conversion of your existing DVD library for use with Media Centre PC's) for use with AutoGK below --> http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm

This FREE tool (AutoGordianKnot [AutoGK]) can convert ripped DVD to DivX --> http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64266

Good Luck Smile

Nick
