I'm not sure this is the right forum but here goes.
My wife likes to feed birds and we get lots of them in our garden, particularly finches and tits.
Yesterday a hawk came and took a finch for its lunch. It didn't even fly away but proceeded to eat it on our lawn until we went out and it flew away with its vicitm.
I know this is nature but my wife is reluctant to put out more seed just to provide the hawk with more meals.
Any suggestiions?
