Hello , i have a job coming up and it involves tearing out old carpet, what is the best and easiest way of doing this. what tools should i use.

If the carpet is stuck down with glue, a shovel or spade is the easiest way to get it up, although you can buy scrappers for the job.

Wallpaper you can buy or hire strippers which steam into the paper making it easy to remove, for glossy or painted over types score the paper first with a knife.
