Hello all. I was wondering could you tell me would my electricity bill be charged if i were to leave my computer on stand by instead of closing down the system every day.

Yes it certainly would be.

TV, Computers, videos etc will use about £15.00 electric per year in standby mode.

On the other hand it's supposed to be better for the equipment leaving them on stand by.

Vince may have a better idea when he wakes up. Laughing

A CRT tube monitor or TV will still draw about 70% of its running current in stanby mode. LCD and plasmas are alot better at about 5%.
If possible turn them off when not in use. Smile
