I'm not sure if anyone has had the same problem as me, but if you have and know what it is any ideas would be useful as Renault are .....rubbish (2b diplomatic)!!
I have a Megane Dynamique 1.6 on a '53 plate. It keeps losing power and juddering. This used to happen at low revs (lower than 2000) but now it happens all over the place. It means I have to over-compensate by being heavy with my right foot, especially on slopes. this is VERY embarassing when going into a car park on a slope, my car is there revving away and I know someone is thinking "women drivers"!!!
It also feel as though it wants to cut out when it is idling. Renault ahve reset the computer 4 times!!! Im on my 5th visit, I think it may be something to do with the ignition coils, but they have told me it cannot be those (maybe partly 'cos im a woman lol) and that my coils are the latest version which do not have any problems....but I'm sure the latest version does not guarantee them being perfect!!!
The ignition also does not start the first time I press the button, it almost like it thinks about it for a while, the stereo comes on after the first 2 or 3 presses then the car finally starts after the 3rd or 4th?
