I have one upstairs radiator which I am constantly having to bleed,why?
Wheredoes the air come from?

| Do you have a pressurised system, a combination boiler or the traditonal small tank in the loft which feeds water to the central heating system and boiler ( feed and expansion tank - F & E tank.? |

Thanks for replying. I have the conventional header tank with "C" plan system. The pump is upstairs in the airing cupboard.

sounds like you could do with an air seperator on the open vent and cold feed.
also, how high is the F&E tank from the highest radiator?

Thank you for your responses, I haven't yet had time to look into your suggestions.
On Saturday I am off to Portugal for a week and hope that I won't be in need of CH!
