I have emulsioned my bare plaster walls after filling in various 'dinges' in the plaster with polyfiller. I have since noticed a few more though, is it ok to polyfiller those and do another emulsion coat?

You should have applied a very thin miss coat on the new plaster first, then you can do any filling and sanding down before the next coat.

To answer your question yes you can
