| A few months ago our washer would leak when the drain cycle kicked on. So every time the washer would drain we would have to watch it so that it wouldnt over flow. Well we had a guy come over and put one of those guards(?) on to keep it from overflowing. Well its doing it again and soaking our carpets. But the area of carpet that gets soaked is almost a staight line! What could be the problem and how do we fix it! Thanks for any advice! |

check to see if there any partial blockage in the pipe and also remove the trap and remove any debris.
pipe should be 1 1/2 in diameter if not suggest increasing pipe size;
