Any ideas on how to remove a wedged golf ball from my shower drain?

If it is visible, you may be able to drill it and insert a screw, then pull it out. Otherwise, you will probably have to disassemble the pipes.

Could try a vacuum cleaner. possibly with a piece of hose taped on the end.
