The ceiling light in my computer room started going off and on, I thought it was the switch so I put on a new switch, same problem, I had a false ceiling with wires running down to the fixture, I cleaned all connections and installed new wire nuts, same problem, I checked the voltage at the fixture and the wires coming out of the old ceiling, the voltage seemed low 109 to 110 volts, the rest of the house is 118 to 120 volts, is the old wiring going bad, is there a bad connection, any suggestions.
Thank you
Mark

Also check the connections from the previous light on the circuit as the bad joint may be there.
