An art gallery design would depend on the display and should be as individual to the proprietor as the art it displays. For example you would want to create space and light for some works whilst others works are best displayed with background or artifically light.
Some works require display cabinets and others tables, shelfs and floor standing, pictures can be ruined by sunlight and will quickly fade.
The other thing to consider is diversity, your display must change constantly or it will quickly become stale and boring. Think of a shop window and vary the display with different themes, do special presentations using your favorite artists, the design is endless but it must be individual.
Hope that helps and good luck. |
