Hi
I currently have a short on my doorbell (transformer fed)
Before I work on the wiring to the bell I want to remove the transformer
I cant seem how to do this
Do I have to remove the face plate on the fuse box there are some screws
It is a standard MK type box which is 5 years old
Thanks

Subject our Vince having a say in the matter when he logs on later.
I would suggest you get a sparkie before the big bang. |

Firstly turn of the big red main switch.
Remove the cover of the fuse board.
The transformer will be mounted on the rail next to the circuit breakers, remove the mains side and low voltage side cables(tape up the mains ones) then under the transformer you will find a clip that has to be drawn downwards, then you can lift the bell transformer out and replace.
DONT FORGET TO TURN OFF THE MAIN SWITCH FIRST
