I have a mystery going on in my house. I noticed a buzzing in my phone-regular wall phone, not a battery phone, when I have the surge protector plugged in which contains my computer plug. I have the surge protector off(the swicth on surge porotector is off) but have the plug to surge protector plugged into a wall socket and have a buzzing in my phone. When I unplug it, the buzzing stops in the phone. I have tried it in other sockets and it does the same thing. How can there be juice with the surge protector OFF for one and what does my phone have to do with something plugged into a wall? Any clue what is going on?
