There is air coming out of the flapper area of our toilet. Why is this happening ? We changed the flapper and ballcock only one week ago but this has been going on for a few months now. Please help. :cry:

the flapper may not have a good seal. cheap fix. try vasiline under the flapper. if this does not work. try a different style of flapper. let the flapper sit in hot water for a few minutes before you install it. this will help get a better seal. it might just be a defective flapper as well.
