I would like to know how many outlets are normal in a new house with 15amp circuit/ how many outlets per circuit?

as per the national electric code article 220-3b9 there are up to 10 receptacles allowed on a fifteen amp circuit. with any installation, the code is up to the interpretation of the jurisdiction of the governing body... which simply is that the inspector has the final say on it.
