Our split entry home was built in the '60s. All woodwork and doors are dark (almost walnut). Nowdays white seems to be the preference. Our daughter feels we should paint all the woodwork and doors - or replace it all. We are painting all the ceilings and walls, but don't know if we should touch the woodwork and doors.
Any suggestions? |

It's true that most people like light colours, but is it going to make any difference to the sale or price.
If you answer no to the above why bother, because most people re-decorate the minute they go through the door anyway.
Stick it on the market and assess the feedback. |
