cold fill only on warm wash cold rinse, but if i turn the temp selector to auto fill, i get hot wash and warm wash as selected. is it the temp switch or etc board and how do i test with ohm meter?

Not a washing machine service tech, so don't know the schematic. Is it a machine that heats the water or is it hooked up to hot and cold water?Sorry to not be of any help.
