I live in Toronto, Canada. I have a wiring connection problem that I can't figure out. I have 3 rooms connected to the same circuit breaker, but only specific receptacles and light switches work. I used a receptacle tester on the affected receptacles and it indicated an open neutral, however, when I switched the lights on in an adjacent room the receptacle tester read hot & ground reversed, and the lights in the adjacent room did not work. Please advise....Thanking you in advance.
