I have an electric fire which i want to move but is wired straight into two outlets.
Is it a simple case of turning the electric off and removing the wires and leaving the outlets as they are or is it a bit more complex?
As you can probably tell my knowledge stops at changing a plug
thanks

Thats about how it, make sure the wires are not live because they have big teeth.

You could consider fitting a socket instead of just leaving it.

scruff. Cool

Cannot understand why two outlets. Unless it is of the type that has a flicker effect or is a fan assisted storage heater.

Can you explain further please.

It is the kind of fire with a fire effect so i guess that is why there are 2 connections.
