Best way of covering a small water mark/leak on a white painted textured ceiling? It is now dry and a medium dark brown color.approx 10cm in radius

If your ceiling is emulsioned, the best way to cover a water mark so that it doesn't bleed through a new coat of emulsion is to apply a coat of oil based undercoat just to the stain. When dry, apply emulsion. This will solve the problem....Dai
