I have a situation with my sister-in-law where she has been saying slanderous things about me to people; things she says I said to her.
Now, this is a long and involved story - too long to put on here, I think - but it's ended up where I have threatened that I am going to bring a case against her for slander. But ultimately, it's going to boil down to my word against hers. Would this be worth persuing or would the my word/her word thing put an end to it before it even gets going?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Paul R.

Depends how much money you want to throw at it.

A Solicitor can always make a case at a cost, if you know people that she has spread lies too they can be made to stand up in Court.

Certainly if you have witnesses it wouldn't be a case of your word against hers.

Again the CAB will give you good advice.

A solicitors letter warning her could also work.
