|
|
I have moved my oil burner and added a radiator in my garage(the burner is an outside 1 with insulated housing).
I bled all the radiators before I switched on the burner.
When I switched on the burner, all sounded good but after about 10 minutes, the burner has switched off kinda(the reset button doesnt do anything)
I can still hear a noise from behind the burner but only 1 radiator is heating-the new 1 in the garage and I can`t hear the usual creaking of pipes in my house when the heating is switched on.
I know nothing about lockshields either.
The lockshield on the new radiator was fully closed so I opened it fully and could hear water bubbling into it.
Any ideas? |

Only real advise one can give is to check and recheck everything you have done. It is possible to suggest answers for faults that develop within a working system but when you have carried out such major surgery when by your own admission you know nothing about lockshield valves could mean virtually anything could be the cause.
It could be air, faulty pipe runs - anything!! |
