hi there.
my norton virus protection has come up for renewal but I am this week changing to a new computer.can I reinstall the Norton from the original CD and then renew on the new or do I have to go right back to square one and buy a new CD?
I am a retired person who has just got to grips with all this technology and have to learn a new thing each day!
Cheers |

| I would consider looking at "zonealarm with antivirus". I found Norton to be about the same price, but zonealarm is a really good firewall. |

i wouldn't use Norton - it uses alot of computer resources.
ZoneAlarm is good, but i've found Sygate to be better. |

ah yes, you're quite right....
but unfortunately, being right up to speed with these things, it seems that Sygate was bought by Symantec and as such is no longer available (funny that)
Symantec are pointing peeps in the direction of Norton - pfft is all i can say
use the Windows XP built in firewall or get the one that comes with AVG
the link ?
just here.... CLICK HERE FOR AVG |
