Can anyone tell a novice to computing what a spooler is Because i keep getting an error message saying that it is disconected , is it in the printer or the computer ? Confused Confused Confused Razz

A spooler is a program that controls spooling -- putting jobs on a queue and taking them off one at a time. Most operating systems come with one or more spoolers, such as a print spooler for spooling documents. It's a program that runs in the background that controls your printing, it's not a physical part within the pc.
