I want to join a Hepworth Super Sleve fittting (100mm bore) to an existing old clay mortared-in-socket type pipe - I assume 4". Can I get an adapter for this, and will it cost me an arm and a leg ?

Also - I have an old(ish) Potterton Worcester 9.24 electronic combi boiler, that must have the largest rectangular balanced flue that has ever been made - it's ginormous - can I replace this with a modern small cylindrical balanced flue ? If so, what kit do I have to buy?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

Chas

First part, you can get a supasleeve to saltglaze adaptor for a few quid, the easy way to connect is to cut the saltglaze pipe with a 9"angle grinder and just push it together with the correct lubricant.

Jewsons etc will stock them.

Second part, No you must not alter a flue in any shape or form.

You would need to change the boiler.
