When you give a "love-bite" you are sucking on one area over a prolonged time and what happens is...the suction causes the very fragile blood vessels called capillaries to rupture and the blood comes to the surface giving the bruised effect. Despite various old-wives tales, there is no quick way of getting rid of a love-bite other than giving it time and the cells die off and get absorbed back into the system. Best not to give love-bites...try flowers instead Very Happy
