im going to be installing a jacuzzi bath, what circuit protection should i have

im going to upgrade the fuse board to a split board with one half on an rcd , it will defenetly have to have an rcd in the circuit but am i better putting in an rcbo for it,i think the circuit breaker will need to be type c for motor rated,

i was going to run the cable from the fuse board into a fused spur in the bathroom which will be in a built in vanity unit, then from there in flex to the motor on the bath, which would be about 1.5 metres

thanks for the help

Either put it on the RCD side of the board or an RCBO.
Make sure your earthing arrangments and cross bonding are up to date, then get somebody to test the installation and issue a Part 'P' certificate as it is in a bathroom.
You will be breaking the law without it.

A 'B' type would be better as it will trip faster under fault conditions the loadings/start current on a bath pump is minimal.

Enjoy the bath, and be safe and get the works tested.
