Here's my challenge-
I host a game show at a pub
I have 2 contestants, each is holding a handheld on/off slider switch (Ikea about $7 each)
The slider switch is plugged into a power strip.
The slider switch lights up a light under the player's chair.
As of right now- I have had a few close calls- where both contestants are buzzing in almost at the same time.
Is there an easy and safe way to do this:
if player 1 buzzes in then player 2 cannot and vice versa
also I, as MC will need a reset button (I should be able to turn both on/off)
I have stumped a few locals with this one- but I know you folks can help me.
Right? |

Maplin/radio shack make an electronic kit for this purpose but it is only battery powered and along with the light it also sounds a buzzer(2 players only)
I made one for my kids a couple of christmases ago.
