My house borders a park and there is a huge copper beach next to the fence I have asked to council if the could prune this for me and they say that copper beachs cannot be prunned as it damages the bark. Is this true? |

Not so much the bark as the tree itself.
My all time favourite tree enjoy it, and gather the leaves for the garden as they contain Potash |
