|
|
Hi,
I need to fit 2 rads into a conservatory, and the connecting pipes will need to pass under the outside door to reach from one side of the room to the other. The builder is leaving a gap in the concrete floor so that the pipes can pass along the wall, into the floor under the door, and up again.
Should the section of pipe in the concrete be ducted, insulated, or both ?? |

| I think current building regulations require underfloor pipe to be ducted i.e. must be able to remove and easily replace. It is also quite difficult to "size" a radiator in a conservatory. Many people opt for electric underfloor for background heat and a small electric fan heater to boost. |

| Do a search an "Radipex", from the Wirsbo range, perfect for what you want. |
