Hi all...

My partner and I haven't had a holiday for 2 years so I am determined to get away in 2005! We were looking at going to one of the Thailand islands or the Maldives before the horrific disaster, so we now need to look at alternatives. Any inspiration on the best places to go this year?

hi we where in the Maldives last year, and it had to be the best holiday we had ever had. we always have a winter Holiday and then a summer holl. anyway if it's long haul you are after i would still go with the Maldives. the hotels are still open and just check with the tourist board before you go and see what there have to say. if not that why don't you have a look at Mexico we had a good holiday there 2 years ago.
now if you don't fancy a long haul holiday we go to Greece a lot, and our favourite island without a doubt is skiathos, now if you have not been there give this beautiful island ago.
