Hi,
Need to do something with an internal soil stack, and have so far had 2 ideas.
1, Reroute to external from under bathroom floor, and plumb all bath waste into it.
2, Fit complete new soil stack to external drains, and remove existing internal pipework, then plumb all household waste to it.
Question is, are either of these feasible, and which one makes the most sense.
Have to say i'm leaning towards a complete new one.
TIA |

Inclined to agree. There are always things in the way, under floors. Each fitting (basin, bath etc) should have its own waste to the stack pipe. Though it can be unavoidable, connecting things together under floors is not a good idea. Don't forget the rodding eyes.
I will only use eg Terrain parts for drains now. There are cheap alternatives, but you get what you pay for. Use Terrain cement too, they are NOT all the same. I daresay other respected makes are OK too but I haven't looked into them. Avoid the DIY shed variety and Polypipe. |
