I have a beautiful Rhododenron bush which looked so healthy and flowered well as the spring came, then after my wife fed it with some liquid feed stuff (don't know the name) it suddenly looks very dead?! Is there anything we can do to bring it back?

Depends what she put on it, and you need to test the soil.

In addition to being lime free the soil should be moist, peaty and fairly light.
