| my pc died after 1 year they told me my motherboard went and not warrantied can it be replaced. |

yes it can
you need to no what processor is fitted and what type of memory, the rest is fairly easy just unplug the hardware from the old board and plug into the new one. make sure you wear an anti-static wrist band to avoid damaging sensitive electronics.

yes the motherboard can be replaced
but being Compaq it might mean that you would have difficulty fitting a different board
to find a replacement
remove the case
on the motherboard itself you should find a small label with a serial number on it
on that label should also be an FRU code (Field replacement Unit ) number if you take that number to any HP/Compaq reseller they should be able to get you an exact replacement for the board
