Sometimes the cause is as simple as a clogged tap / faucet aerator or shower head. However, the problem might also lie in a buildup of mineral deposits in supply pipes or valves. Clogged valves can be replaced or cleaned with a wire brush designed for cleaning the copper fittings. If the problem's in the pipes, the affected sections may have to be replaced.
